Most projects don't fail on the code โ they fail because nobody pinned down the actual problem first. So I start every build by asking what the business is really trying to move, then work backwards to the smallest thing that gets there. That's carried me across healthcare, marketing, construction, and Web3, front-end and back.
The unglamorous truth is that most of my best work is deletion โ a "custom platform" that turns out to be three forms and a cron job, a tangle of spreadsheets replaced by one screen someone actually opens. I'd rather ship something dull that runs for three years than something clever I have to babysit.
